Minecraft prepares every player and item on one thread. Polarium spreads that work across all your CPU cores and, on 26.3 and 26.2, draws crowds with GPU instancing, so busy fights stay smooth.
It’s client-side only. A server can ask whether Polarium is installed; it answers with its version and nothing else: no player or computer data.
