What's new#

Fixed#

• Server list pings finish: servers no longer sit at "PingingΓǪ" after you come back from a server or open Discover, and Multiplayer no longer crashes while the pings come in.
• Smooth text without dark edges on 1.17 to 1.21.11 (it was already fixed on 26.1 and newer).
• Boss bar has its icon in the mods menu, and the Scoreboard and Boss bar settings show a preview even while the real ones are on screen.
• Continuity and Sodium: a mod that only needs a newer version of another now offers Update first, instead of saying they can't run together.
• Play together: the invite code wraps inside its card in a narrow window.
• Theme and client style tiles stay inside their rounded borders.
• Discover servers: Sort has its own row, so Surprise me no longer covers it.
• A game that fails before any mod loads (a part of the mod loader that can't be read) starts next time with its files checked and without Arctic's start-up speed-ups, and its crash report says how Java was started.

New#

• Big modpacks get more memory by themselves when their instance has no memory setting of its own (80+ mods 5 GB, 150+ 6 GB, 250+ 8 GB, never more than your PC can spare).
• Trash on the Instances page: removed instances are listed there, and you can bring one back in one click or delete it for good.
• Modpack and mod search keep loading as you scroll down (they stopped at the first 20).
• Share looks up mods you put in by hand on Modrinth, so mods copied from another folder are shared too.
• Menu Style is a button next to Edit HUD in the Arctic Client's mods menu.

• Void Brim: the Shadow Brim hat in pure black (Head).
